The Man in the Fields is an ancient ritual that rewards the player with wealth and safety. During the ritual every door and item that can be opened in the player’s house will be open. The player must close everything before midnight to prevent The Man in the Fields from getting in. Even if there is the smallest bag left open, it will be able to get in and take away something you can’t get ahead without.
You may encounter a shadowy man in your house, try not to worry about him. He is not The Man in the Fields.
But heed this warning: DO NOT LOOK INTO THE FIELDS!
The game features 5 different locations that are different every time you play. The Steam edition also includes achievements.
